Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America’s Nevada facility seeks a Maintenance Lead to oversee the electrode maintenance team on the A-Shift (7AM–7PM). The role emphasizes reducing downtime, improving throughput, and leading PM activities in a high-volume manufacturing setting near Reno, NV.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and communication skills, with the ability to work weekends/overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Must have working-level knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and hold accountable the maintenance teams on shift to perform planned and emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate training needs and develop employees to improve maintenance skills.
• Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and product quality.
• Update the Workday HRIS daily for the responsible shift.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and RCA to resolve technical problems.
• Execute shift plan for planned work orders, PM, training, and capital projects.
• Participate in PM development and maintenance budget management.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
