Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Maintenance Lead at the Sparks, Nevada facility. The role directs maintenance teams on the A-Shift (7AM–7PM) to execute planned and emergency work while driving uptime, throughput, and quality metrics across electrode maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Sufficient English communication at all levels.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Proficient MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Continuous improvement mindset and team-building ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and hold maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate hourly personnel training needs and develop maintenance skills.
• Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and product quality.
• Update Workday daily for the responsible shift.
• Communicate daily activity of work orders with Planners and Supervisors.
• Lead troubleshooting activities using available resources to resolve issues quickly.
• Execute shift plan for PM, training, and capital projects.
• Participate in PM development and maintenance budget with Planners.
• Apply RCA to resolve technical problems in packing, process, warehouse, and utilities.
