Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance function under the Maintenance Manager, supervising staff and ensuring plant and grounds upkeep while driving cost, quality, service, and asset utilization.

The role emphasizes prioritizing repairs, conducting root-cause analysis, managing the department budget, ensuring safety training, and maintaining accurate equipment records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• At least one (1) year of scheduling/planning experience.
• Understanding of utility systems (refrigeration/freezing, boilers, HVAC, PLCs).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for food manufacture.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling repairs, PMs, and equipment upkeep.
• Supervise maintenance staff to minimize downtime and control costs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Manage department budget and pursue cost-saving methods.
• Prioritize repairs based on urgency and resource availability.
• Inspect equipment and recommend upgrades to improve reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records; ensure training and safety compliance.
• Mentor and train staff; administer performance feedback and disciplinary actions as needed.
