Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to guide the maintenance function, supervise staff, and uphold facility and grounds upkeep. You will drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, service, and asset utilization within policy and regulatory guidelines.

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays. Position requires strong communication, leadership, and hands-on management in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Minimum five years in a maintenance leadership role in manufacturing; food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with scheduling/planning and utility systems support (refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, PLC).

Responsabilités

• Assist Maintenance Manager with scheduling repairs, PMs, and equipment upkeep.
• Lead the maintenance department to minimize downtime and costs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Manage department budget within approved limits and seek cost savings.
• Prioritize requests based on urgency and resource availability.
• Inspect equipment and recommend upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date maintenance records.
• Mentor, coach, and train staff; administer performance feedback and corrective actions.
• Promote safety initiatives and complete required training; maintain zero-accident culture.
