Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in a poultry processing facility. You will supervise technicians, ensure preventive maintenance, and maintain plant equipment, utilities and buildings in a compliant state.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of PM systems and regulatory requirements in a food environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with PM programs and regulated food manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance projects to keep machinery, grounds and buildings in working condition.
• Lead the Preventative Maintenance Program to meet regulatory compliance.
• Supervise maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and accidents.
• Plan, schedule and assign repair, maintenance and installation tasks.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities with operating teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development and QA on issues.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and participate in hiring.
• Other duties as assigned.
