Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness and safety.

You will handle service requests, make-ready tasks for new move-ins, inspect work, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining inventory and safety adherence across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications (Type I & II or Universal) required for HVAC work.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and follow policies and safety rules.
• Proficiency with basic math for budgets, invoices, and documentation.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose issues to repair per policy and code.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, exteriors, and common areas per Greystar standards.
• Inspect work performed by others and by contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools; coordinate with Community Manager on purchases.
