Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring indoor and outdoor community areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, manage make-ready processes for vacancies, maintain grounds and building exteriors, and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and efficiency. Strong safety knowledge and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support operations.
• Knowledge of safety standards and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Manage the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating contractors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of the community and its common areas.
• Periodically inspect work and ensure quality standards with vendors and staff.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials within budget guidelines.
• Assist in budgeting for repair, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
