Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator at our Burlington, NJ facility to manage preventative maintenance scheduling, coordinate outside repairs, and plan shop work. The position supports timely updates to customers and ensures parts availability and smooth operations.

The role requires customer service experience and some hands-on mechanical exposure, with potential supervisory responsibilities and a focus on safety compliance, DOT and OSHA policies, and accurate billing

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/Technical/Bachelors degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans by considering customer needs, repairs, parts, technician skills, and hours to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates and schedule changes, billing concerns, or service issues.
• Assure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and adherence to schedule for outside work.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
