Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to help schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan at our Burlington, NJ facility. This on-site role focuses on keeping customers informed, coordinating parts and vendors, and maintaining high service levels.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of customer service, 1 year of mechanical exposure, and 2 years of supervisory or admin experience, with a HS diploma or better; ASE

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates, technical or bachelor's degree preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Experience with service scheduling and diagnostic programs preferred.
• Ability to follow Penske policies; DOT/OSHA safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily/weekly workforce plans considering customer needs and available parts to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns, and service issues with customers.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Verify parts availability for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence for outside work.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
