Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Franklin, MA is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan.

This on-site role at 25 Discovery Way involves daily planning to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of customer service, 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience, and strong scheduling/administrative skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience
• 1 year of hands on mechanical experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• 2 years of service department administration preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Associates/Bachelors degree preferred
• ASE certification preferred
• Experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans based on customer needs, repairs, parts, and technician skills to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns, and service issue resolution.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule for outside work
• Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Maintain shop productivity by optimizing the work plan
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
