Job summary

Penske is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate outside repairs, and manage the shop work plan from the West Haven, CT facility. You will balance customer needs with parts availability, technician skill sets, and work hours to maximize service and productivity.

Responsibilities include updating customers on maintenance, handling billing inquiries, ensuring Penske units are maintained, and collaborating with district billing clerks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• At least 1 year of hands on mechanical experience required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of service department administration preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and weekly workforce plans balancing customer needs, repairs, parts, technicians, and work hours to maximize service and productivity.
• Communicate with customers for maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns, or service issues.
• Ensure Penske Rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence for outside work.
• Provide customer service and ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
