Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance operations at an Atlanta-area community. The role handles routine, corrective, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, ensuring grounds, buildings, and common areas meet safety and quality standards.

Regular on-site attendance is required; you will respond to work orders, assist in make-ready tasks, and participate in on-call emergencies. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic work.
• Regular/daily on-site attendance is required.
• Assist in cleaning, grounds, buildings, and common areas maintenance and upkeep.
• Respond to requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed promptly.
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance in all activities.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide excellent customer and resident relations.
