Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Porter to support maintenance operations at our community in Iowa. You will perform corrective, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance, assist with make-ready processes, and ensure grounds and common areas are clean and safe.

Regular onsite attendance and responsive service to residents are essential. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of safety regulations, and a willingness to work on-call emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Fair Housing Laws and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks.
• Assist in make-ready process in line with property objectives under supervision.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Clean, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and report hazards to supervisors.
