Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to join our on-site team in Melissa, Texas. The role involves community maintenance, daily on-site presence, responding to requests, and performing repairs to keep grounds and buildings in top condition.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to grow within a nationwide property management firm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways and common areas.
• On-site attendance required; respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and maintain safety.
• Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend community life.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards (OSHA).
• Participate in unit inspections and on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage service request turnaround and responsiveness.
• Enforce community policies and ensure consistent handling of resident matters.
