Job summary

Le Sueur Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to coordinate planning, scheduling, and follow-up of maintenance activities across the facility. This role serves as a key liaison between the Maintenance and Production departments to ensure work is prioritized, planned, and completed in a timely, cost‑effective manner.

The Planner/Scheduler develops daily, weekly, and long‑term maintenance schedules; plans preventive and predictive maintenance; prepares and maintains work orders;

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance concepts.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to prepare clear work orders and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Work Order Planning: receive, review, and create maintenance work orders with defined scope and approved authorization.
• Maintenance Scheduling: develop daily, weekly, and long-term schedules; manage backlog and delays.
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: plan activities based on equipment history and programs.
• Parts, Materials, and Equipment Coordination: verify availability and coordinate procurement.
• Planning Packages and Work Execution: assemble instructions, drawings, and safety requirements.
• Maintenance Performance and Continuous Improvement: analyze labor, costs, and efficiency.
• Communication and Reporting: maintain records, generate reports, and inform managers.
