Job summary

Bell & Evans is seeking a highly organized Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to support our Maintenance Department. This Full-Time role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance activities across the facility to keep equipment, people, and production moving efficiently.

You will work with Maintenance leadership, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Sanitation, Production Scheduling, and outside service providers to ensure work is properly planned, scheduled, resourced, and completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: 3+ years in maintenance planning or scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Create, maintain, and update maintenance work orders in the maintenance system.
• Develop daily, weekly, and longer-term maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate maintenance around production schedules and planned downtime.
• Review work requests for scope, priority, labor, parts, tools, and safety considerations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure parts and services are available before work begins.
• Maintain equipment records and maintenance histories.
• Monitor backlog, schedule compliance, and maintenance metrics.
• Support reporting on maintenance labor hours and completed work.
