Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to improve productivity by eliminating delays and coordinating maintenance work across a production area. You will liaison between maintenance and operations, plan future work, review work orders, and develop detailed plans with required resources.

Candidates should have 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a mechanical/electrical background, and familiarity with SAP PM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience operating SAP Plant Maintenance preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical background is essential.
• Planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to estimate labor hours and materials for jobs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between maintenance and other plant departments.
• Plan future maintenance work to reduce delays and maximize efficiency.
• Process and screen work orders received from requesting departments.
• Develop work plans identifying scope and resources required.
• Estimate jobs with steps, trades, and labor hours.
• Identify and obtain materials and enter needs on work orders.
• Maintain backlog files and prioritize scheduling.
• Ensure parts, materials, and tools are available before scheduling.
• Create maintenance work schedules for area supervisors.
• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans.
• Develop standard work order plans for recurring repairs.
• Plan and execute planned preventative maintenance.
• Order parts according to lead times and arrange outside services.
• Monitor effectiveness of preventive/predictive programs.
