Job summary

Penske is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage inventory and branch administrative processes at the Hartford facility (10 Shoham Road). The role supports maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will oversee inventory productivity, parts ordering, warranty processing and repairs scheduling, while coordinating with service teams and vendors to ensure timely operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with colleagues.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years experience in customer service and operations.
• 2+ years experience in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, collaborative mindset.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service while mitigating inventory loss.
• Order parts with sourcing procedures and ensure on-time, defect-free deliveries with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; perform regular cycle counts and ensure availability.
• Manage new and used battery inventory and tire stock in proper quantities.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely; follow-up on returns and warranty documentation.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts are available.
• Ensure vendor support and accurate payments.
