Corning Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks on plant equipment, facilities, and services. The role requires reading blueprints and working from various instructions, and involves operating a broad set of tools and machinery.

You may train others and participate in cross-functional work groups while ensuring quality and timely execution. Starting pay is $37.02 USD per hour, with compensation and benefits governed by the applicable collective

• Works from blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
• Operates a wide variety of equipment including saws, benders, breaks, pipe threaders, drills, gauges, meters, feelers, voltmeters, micrometers, industrial trucks, hand trucks, machine tools, welding equipment, and carts.
• Provides cross training for other skills.
• May be a member of a work group that uses business skills such as writing and entering work orders, time distribution, quotes and estimates, and computer use in duties.
