Job summary

PepsiCo in Randolph, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves and pumps, with a focus on keeping production running safely and reliably.

The role requires diagnosing AC/DC electrical systems from schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance calls while working on weekends (Sat, Sun, Mon) and a late Friday shift; candidates must lift 15–50 lbs and work in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 15–50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without accommodation.
• Able to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.
• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors).
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
