Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring for a maintenance technician in Kathleen, GA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical controls, and pumps.

You’ll work night shifts, four days a week, with rotating weekends, and support equipment reliability through preventative maintenance. We value hands-on experience with high-energy environments and the ability to operate in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work on weekends and holidays.
• Lift 15 to 50 points with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods.
• Willing to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.

• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety

Minimum Qualifications

• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
