Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Technical Manager to lead Maintenance, Engineering, Printing, Production, and Facilities at STC. You will oversee a maintenance team and drive capital projects to maximize output while controlling costs.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and operations to sustain production efficiency. A BA/BS in a related field and 5+ years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business preferred.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with 3 years supervisory.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Engineering, Maintenance and Quality with the objective of maximizing production volume while achieving cost targets.
• Manage the plant Capital Budget and Engineering expense budget.
• Ensure plant facilities and production equipment are properly maintained.
• Coordinate capital deployment opportunities with plant technical and operations resources.
• Oversee CAR submissions and coordination of capital activities.
• Responsible for hiring, salary administration, performance management and employee development.
