Job summary

Novo Health Services seeks an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment and facility systems. The role partners with the Chief Engineer to maximize uptime, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in industrial maintenance or reliability, with CMMS experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–10 years of progressive maintenance, engineering, or reliability experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability programs.
• Experience leading maintenance personnel, contractors, or cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals; CMMS experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Supervise technicians, contractors, and service providers with a focus on safety and quality.
• Support employee training on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and continuous improvement.
