Job summary

Corvias Group LLC in Detroit is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day operations, oversee maintenance teams, and ensure adherence to policies and budgets. You will manage trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs while delivering outstanding customer service to residents.

The role requires 4+ years in multi-site property management (≥500 units) or 5+ years in related fields, with strong budgeting and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of multi-site property management experience (≥500 units) or 5+ years in related industry.
• Proven competency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry and lock repairs.
• EPA Universal or Type I/II technician certification preferred.
• Budgeting, financial analysis, projections and expense control experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and YARDI or equivalent software.
• Must provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the highest customer service standards and resident relations.
• Meet with residents to resolve concerns quickly and train teams similarly.
• Communicate regularly with team members to foster open dialogue and inclusion.
• Ensure uniform policies for building maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and inventory.
• Solicit and evaluate maintenance contracts; supervise safety programs and procurement.
