Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our community portfolio. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, attractive environments for residents across multiple properties.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of maintenance leadership experience, EPA 608, a CPO cert, and solid HVAC, plumbing and electrical skills. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years maintenance experience preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
• Personnel supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I and II certifications plus current CPO certification.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in computer skills such as Ops Technology, e-mail.
• Available to work days and evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
• Must demonstrate Bell Core Values and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all maintenance associates and conduct regular performance appraisals.
• Provide feedback to associates with the assistance of the Community Manager.
• Ensure community and grounds are in good repair and safe for residents.
• Inspect community and grounds regularly and identify repairs needed.
• Maintain grounds and coordinate lawn service with approved vendors.
• Set up and maintain the Community Compliance Manual per specifications.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash.
• Keep maintenance items in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Maintain availability to residents, management, staff on a regular schedule.
• Attend required meetings and training programs; follow OSHA requirements.
