Job summary

Redwood Materials in Sparks, Nevada seeks a Maintenance Technician to lead the electromechanical maintenance team and ensure safe, reliable equipment in support of production. You will work hands-on with technicians, provide direction, and drive maintenance standards across the facility.

This full-time role requires strong problem-solving, safety focus, and collaboration with planners and cross-functional teams. Hours are 6:00pm–6:00am, Thu–Sat (every other Wed).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/plant maintenance setting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment (mills, crushers, conveyors, pumps).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet standards.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching on maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Diagnose complex electromechanical issues and implement fixes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects and safety audits.
