Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair metal fabrication equipment and facility systems. The role requires strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge and at least four years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

You will troubleshoot, perform PMs, and document activities in SharePoint while supporting safety and continuous improvement. The position supports a 3:30 PM–2:00 AM schedule, Monday through Thursday with occasional weekends, and

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced understanding of industrial electrical systems (120/277/480 volts), mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic theory.
Fabrication skills including welding, grinding, plasma cutting, and torch operation.
Ability to read and interpret drawing packets including electrical schematics.
Understanding and proper use of various measuring devices such as micrometers, dial calipers, electrical multi-meters, vibration meters, sound meters, and pressure meters.
Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
Basic shop math skills.
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, rebuild, and install metal fabrication equipment (e.g., shears, presses, lasers, welders).
Perform advanced troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, vehicles, and forklifts.
Document maintenance work and findings in SharePoint.
Train less experienced maintenance personnel and participate in problem-solving for safety and productivity.
