Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Reno, NV seeks a Maintenance Lead to oversee a maintenance team on a Monday–Friday shift (6:30am–3:00pm). You will manage planned and emergency maintenance, drive uptime improvements, and coordinate with planners and supervisors.

Strong troubleshooting, blueprints reading, and MS Office skills are required. The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma progressions, cost reductions, and equipment improvements to enhance availability and yield.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in manufacturing or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with maintenance experience.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and reading blueprints.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and hold maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate and develop hourly personnel training to improve maintenance skills.
• Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and product quality.
• Update maintenance system and HR labor tracking daily for the shift.
• Communicate work order status with Planners and Production Supervisors.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and use available resources to fix issues.
• Execute shift plans for PMs, training, and capital projects.
• Support PM development and maintenance budget management with Planners.
• Lead RCA application to resolve technical problems in packing, process, and utilities.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage predictive and preventative maintenance technologies and programs.
