Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee repair and preventive maintenance across the Nevada facility. The role involves directing on-shift teams, driving uptime improvements, and coordinating maintenance activities with cross-functional partners.

The position requires strong troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and effective communication, with options for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience performing preventative maintenance.
Experience reading blueprints.
Must have working-level knowledge of English.
Available to work weekends and/or overtime as needed.
Effective communication and collaboration across all levels.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, direct, and manage maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency work.
Evaluate hourly staff training needs and develop skills.
Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and quality.
Update maintenance system daily for the responsible shift.
Maintain HRIS labor tracking in Workday for the shift.
Communicate daily work order status with Planners and Production Supervisors.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and use available resources to resolve issues quickly.
Execute shift plan for PMs, training, and capital projects.
Participate in PM development and budget management with Planners.
Lead RCA efforts to resolve technical problems in packing, process, and utilities.
