Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Technician I for our Nevada facility. The Maintenance Lead will ensure timely repair and preventive maintenance across the site, resolve issues, and recommend equipment improvements to boost uptime, capability, and yield.

The role requires supervising on-shift teams, coordinating with planners and supervisors, and applying RCA techniques to resolve technical problems in packing, process, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Working-level English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency work.
• Evaluate hourly personnel to identify training needs and develop skills.
• Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and product quality.
• Update computerized maintenance system daily for the shift.
• Maintain HRIS/labor tracking in Workday daily for the shift.
• Lead troubleshooting with maintenance teams and use available resources.

Education

Associate degree or equivalent working experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
