Job summary

YES Communities in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Lead- Bilingual to supervise maintenance teams and ensure timely, quality service to residents. You will manage repairs, asset upkeep, and safety compliance across the community, while coordinating with the Community Manager and manufacturers for deliveries and warranty work.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, preventative maintenance, and effective communication, with an on-site schedule and potential after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry software and use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and task management for the maintenance team as directed by the Community Manager to ensure timely completion of repairs and/or updates as requested by lender inspections.
• Maintain all assets, including rental inventory, tools, grounds, equipment, maintenance facility(s), through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishment.
• Coordinate new home delivery and setup, and request warranty or follow-up work with the community manager and manufacturers.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls immediately based on the on-call schedule.
• Order supplies, tools, and equipment as needed with management approval.
• Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Participate in the monthly Safety Teams meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month.
• Follow safety precautions including chemical use, OSHA requirements, and PPE equipment as required by Company/State standards.
• Conduct maintenance interviews and assist with onboarding of new maintenance team members.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing; file logs as required.
• Log and maintain all company vehicles according to safety standards.
• Notify management of any incident/accident immediately.
• Coordinate with the team to secure utilities on vacant lots and remove old tiedowns.
• Additional duties as assigned by management which are subject to change.
