Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members
• Competent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity to support timely service and reduce loss
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts through sourcing procedures with Centralized Parts Ordering
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; perform regular inventory cycle counts
• Manage new and used battery inventory and ensure tires are stocked correctly
• Ensure warranty items are shipped on time and coordinate with warranty department
• Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available
• Provide vendor support and ensure payments are processed correctly
• Perform process analyses on Inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts and RO reviews
• Use ServiceNet or AS400 to analyze operations and identify improvements
• Support the branch financial manager with data contributing to profitability
• Handle projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager
