Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Danbury, CT to lead building and grounds upkeep, oversee make-ready for vacant units, and ensure safety and high-quality workmanship across our community.

You will supervise a team, diagnose and repair issues, coordinate contractors, and manage inventory while promoting our core values and resident-centered service. This role requires versatile maintenance skills and a proactive, reliable leader.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar software.
• HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community.
• Inspect the building daily and address safety issues promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs after hours.
• Make budget recommendations for maintenance line items to the Community Manager.
• Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
• Ensure the general upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
