Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our New Jersey facility safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained so residents can enjoy a high quality of life every day.

You’ll perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot building mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC.
• Follow safety rules and department procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director and Administrator.

Maintenance Assistant Schedule & Benefits

• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift, including one weekend per month
• Work today; Get paid today option available

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Troubleshoot building mechanical problems.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator.
