Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintenance apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous repairs on equipment.
• Ensure satisfactory operations through preventative maintenance.
• Follow established safety rules and procedures.

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications & Responsibilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
• Maintenance apprenticeship preferred
• Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department
• Ability to work independently or part of a group
• Computer knowledge
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator
