Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe Operator for a 12-month contract in Pontiac, MI (onsite). Pay range is $30/hr-$35/hr on W2 and is negotiable based on experience. The role requires onsite presence and may involve holidays and varied shifts.

Responsibilities include incident management for critical IT events, triage and tracking of incidents, and monitoring infrastructure using tools like WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom and PRTG. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work with IBM Mainframe environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents/events.
• Excellent communication with IT staff, customers and vendors.
• Must monitor infrastructure and mainframe-related systems.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe Operator for an 12-months contract position with a client inPontiac, MI(onsite).

Pay Range: $30/hr-$35/hr on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Mainframe Operator

• Functions as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents/events relating to various IT technology.
• Quickly create, expand, triage and track customer technology related incidents.

• The position mandates a presence onsite; there is not a work from home option. Applicants could be requested to work holidays, days, afternoons and/or midnight shifts.
