Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to deliver premium software support for CICS TS on the z/OS platform. You will work across time zones, handling customer service orders, problem resolution, and proactive upgrades with OEM products.

The role requires strong communication, independent work, and the ability to multi-task under deadline pressure. Ideal candidates bring hands-on mainframe experience, SMP/E proficiency, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM’s SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium software support for Ensono mainframe clients related to CICS.
• Support for CICS TS and OEM products on a 24x7x365 basis.
• Install and tailor CICS TS and related OEM products following best practices.
• Assist migrations and disaster recovery testing and execution.
