Job summary

IntelliSource in Houston, TX is hiring a Temporary Mailroom Associate to support shipping, receiving, and mail processing with precision and customer service focus.

You will receive and sort mail and packages, scan and log items, prepare outbound shipments, and assist with SOP development while contributing to a fast-paced logistics team. The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and teamwork in a daytime, Monday–Friday environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving and customer service in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Data entry experience; comfortable using laptops, scanners and modern tech.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate EPJ/Forklift safely.
• Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Receive mail/packages and sort to designated locations.
• Distribute time-sensitive material to on-site and off-site recipients.
• Process incoming packages in Bear Tracks for pickup or delivery.
• Scan and log packages, and handle outbound shipments.
• Answer urgent inquiries and maintain business relationships.
• Develop SOPs for material handling and cost-cutting ideas.
