Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Boston is seeking a Mailroom Lead to manage the mail services team within the Experience Services group. You will lead daily production, ensure accuracy, and act as the go‑to SME for all shipping and receiving operations.

You will coordinate workload, supervise staff, and partner with building management. The role demands calm under pressure, on‑site presence, and commitment to safe, efficient mail handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of mailroom operations experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move it up to 30 feet safely.
• Ability to operate mailroom machinery with safe, repeated motions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mail clerks, drive production and manage daily workflow.
• Serve as SME across all shipping/receiving functions and fill gaps as needed.
• Coordinate workload, coverage, and breaks for staff.
• Coordinate with landlord and tenants on loading dock rules.
• Process high volumes of mail and operate equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain logs and documentation per client procedures.
• Perform QA checks and troubleshoot issues for management.
• Assist in emergency evacuations, crisis management, and business continuity.
• Participate in health and safety reviews and address workplace issues.
