Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Mail List Processor to prepare, process, and maintain mailing lists for campaigns and postal operations. You’ll ensure data hygiene and compliance with USPS standards while coordinating with production teams.

The role requires experience with mailing software, data quality practices, and strong attention to detail. A collaborative environment and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Experience in mailing list processing, print/mail service provider, or mailing services environment.
• Proficient with BCC Mail Manager Full Service.
• Working knowledge of USPS mailing regulations, Move Update requirements, and postal discount programs.
• Experience with CASS, NCOA, DPV, LACSLink, and presort processing.
• Strong understanding of file formats, including Excel, CSV and text files.
• Experience with multiple data sets and customer mailing files.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets customer print orders to extract mailing instructions.
• Review and analyze customer data for import into list service software (BCC).
• Designs and formats label output meeting customer specs and USPS standards.
• Perform address standardization, CASS, NCOA, DPV, and presort per USPS rules.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues like duplicates or invalid addresses.
• Prepare Inkjet output or label files for production and coordinate with teams.
• Meet production deadlines with high accuracy.
• Document billable mailing portions on Mail Recaps for various departments.
• Participate in scheduling meetings to share job status and mailing calendars.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
