Job summary

Epic, based on our campus in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an Operations Center Technician to support business continuity across our global campuses. You will monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems from the Facilities Command Center, and coordinate responses to disruptions.

You will work with internal teams and emergency services to keep environments safe and restore normal operations quickly, with relocation assistance offered for those joining the Madison area.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time alerts and oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center.
• Manage access and security systems across Epic's campuses.
• Identify issues using video feeds and system data and coordinate responses.
• Coordinate emergency responses with internal teams and emergency services.
• Work to restore normal operations quickly and ensure a safe environment.
