Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mac Systems Engineer to deliver hands-on Mac support and JAMF administration. You will install, configure and troubleshoot Mac OS X clients, manage JAMF policies and deployments, and automate tasks with scripting.

Remote L2 support and OS patch remediation are key responsibilities. The role requires strong knowledge of MacOS concepts, at least 5 years in Mac support, and experience with JAMF administration and server management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Mac Support and administration.
• Strong knowledge of MacOS concepts.
• Hands-on JAMF administration and JAMF Server management (min 1 year).
• Ability to create JAMF policies and configuration profiles.
• Experience with Self Service policies and customizations.
• Experience creating configuration profiles for apps, kernel, and system extensions.
• JAMF policy scoping knowledge and OS patching remediation workflow.
• Create Mac application packages using Composer, Packages, etc.
• Mass deployments through JAMF and scripting knowledge in Bash/Python/Swift.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 Mac support remotely with issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Mac OS X clients.
• Manage JAMF infrastructure including policies, profiles, and deployments.
• Prepare and deploy OS patches and remediation workflows.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and workflows.
• Assist in packaging and mass deployment activities via JAMF.
