Job summary

HCLTech in Washington, DC is seeking a Mac Support Engineer (L2) to provide advanced technical support for Apple Mac devices, macOS, and endpoint management solutions.

You will diagnose complex issues, manage JAMF Pro and Intune environments, deploy configurations, and ensure compliance with security standards while delivering strong customer service.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with IT operations and experience supporting enterprise users and VIPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ACSP certification preferred.
• JAMF 100 / JAMF 200 certifications preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise users and VIPs.
• Knowledge of macOS administration and security.
• Experience with endpoint management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, and Apple peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve macOS hardware, software, performance, login, VPN, printing, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
• Handle escalated tickets from L1 teams within defined SLA timelines and perform root-cause analysis.
• Administer JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Workspace ONE.
• Deploy applications, patches, configuration profiles, policies, and security updates.
• Monitor device compliance and remediate non-compliant devices.
