Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an IT Support Engineer to keep our macOS‑centric environment running smoothly at scale. You’ll triage hardware, software, networking, and account issues through our ticketing system, Slack, and in‑person support, while supporting end users across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with IT Engineering and Security to automate workflows, improve onboarding, and manage identity and access. A location‑based hybrid role with in‑office expectations applies in our US offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment.
• Excellent communication with users at all technical levels
• Strong troubleshooting, methodical and persistent
• Experience supporting macOS endpoints and ChromeOS/iOS/Android familiarity
• Experience with Google Workspace administration and Slack workspace management
• Scripting experience for automation (Bash/Python)

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking, and accounts via ticketing system, Slack, and in‑person
• Diagnose issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian)
• Troubleshoot device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement
• Support access management and employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding, reorgs)
• Handle escalations requiring cross‑team coordination
• Participate in on‑call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours
• Provide hands‑on support for user tech, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers
