Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an IT Support team member to serve as the frontline for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You will collaborate with Security, Facilities, and People Ops to enhance employee experiences and ensure secure, up-to-date systems.

The role requires 5 days in-office at SF or London, with relocation assistance for new hires. You should be proficient in macOS with Windows knowledge, and capable of managing identity and device tools like Azure AD, Jamf, and Intune,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments.
• Expertise in identity and device management (Azure AD, MDM like Jamf/Intune).
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining IT support workflows and onboarding/device imaging.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Improve Support Systems and Processes by developing repeatable workflows and documenting best practices.
• Collaborate across OpenAI teams (Security, Facilities, People Ops) to ensure smooth employee experiences.
• Act as Frontline IT Support for hardware, software, and network issues with timely resolutions.
• Manage Vendors and Equipment by coordinating procurement, repairs, and maintaining inventories.
