Job summary

The Clearing House is seeking a Microsoft 365 Communication Systems Engineer to join Corporate Platform Engineering. You will manage Exchange Online and on-prem, oversee Microsoft Teams governance, and drive SaaS integrations in Teams, while ensuring security and compliance.

Ideal candidates will troubleshoot complex issues, administer Entra ID and Defender for Cloud, and collaborate with security and IT teams to maintain a robust, scalable M365 environment in a hybrid Charlotte-based setup.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange administration.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams governance, lifecycle management, and SaaS integrations.
Experience supporting Purview retention policies and Defender for Cloud.
Experience troubleshooting mail flow and hybrid environments.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with strong ownership.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange environments.
Configure Teams governance, policies, lifecycle management, external access, guest access, and collaboration settings.
Drive adoption of Teams integrations with Jira and ServiceNow.
Support Teams Phone, Auto Attendants, and Call Queues where applicable.
Collaborate with security teams on governance, compliance, and data lifecycle management.
