Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Microsoft 365/Exchange Engineer to join our Corporate Platform Engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on Exchange administration (on-prem and cloud), Teams governance, and M365 security, with strong knowledge of Purview retention and Defender for Cloud.

Hybrid onsite schedule and contract-to-hire opportunity. You will troubleshoot complex mail flow and hybrid configurations, drive SaaS integrations in Teams, and partner with Information

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange administration.
• Experience troubleshooting mail flow, hybrid configurations, and delivery issues.
• Strong knowledge of Teams governance and SaaS integrations (Jira, ServiceNow).
• Experience with Purview compliance, retention, and information governance.
• Familiarity with EOP, Defender for Office 365, and email security best practices.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity solutions.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• AD, DNS, certificate management, and hybrid identity architectures.
• Ability to work under strict Change Management and document configurations.

Responsabilités

• Manage Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange environments with mail flow and security hardening.
• Implement EOP and Defender for Office 365 policies.
• Troubleshoot mail delivery, transport rules, and hybrid configurations.
• Configure Teams governance, policies, and external/guest access.
• Drive adoption of SaaS integrations in Teams (Jira, ServiceNow).
• Support Teams Phone, Auto Attendants, and Call Queues.
• Collaborate with Security teams on compliance and retention initiatives.
• Assist Entra ID administration and SSO/CA policy support.
• Document configurations and change management processes.
