Job summary

The Clearing House is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Communications Engineer to join our Corporate Platform Engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on Exchange administration (on-prem and cloud), Teams governance, and M365 security and compliance across the organization.

You will troubleshoot mail flow, manage hybrid configurations, and drive adoption of integrated SaaS solutions (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow in Teams) while ensuring a secure, compliant collaboration environment.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange administration.
• Experience configuring hybrid Exchange environments and mail flow.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams governance and SaaS integrations (Jira, ServiceNow).
• Experience with Purview retention policies and Defender for Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Exchange Online and on-prem environments including mail flow, hybrid configurations, and security hardening.
• Configure and maintain Teams governance, policies, lifecycle management, external and guest access.
• Drive adoption of Teams integrations with SaaS platforms like Jira and ServiceNow.
• Support Teams Phone, Auto Attendants, and Call Queues where applicable.
• Partner with Information Security on Purview retention and information governance initiatives.
