Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager to lead buy‑side and sell‑side financial due diligence in our Transaction Advisory Group. You will oversee QOE, P&L, and working capital analyses, mentor junior staff, and partner with senior leadership on engagement scope and risk management.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, solid accounting credentials, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Based in Dallas with frequent cross‑office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with Directors.
• Maintain the budget and fee analyses.
• Oversee multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Review databooks and generate full due diligence reports.
• Lead QOE, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Communicate with clients regarding engagement matters.
• Develop solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
• Recruit, train and develop junior staff.
• Support business development efforts.
