Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a finance-focused professional to support core due diligence, analyze financial statements, and craft client-ready reports and presentations. You will assess earnings quality and cash flows, working with target management to extract actionable insights.

The role includes mentoring CTG associates, coordinating with various service groups, and contributing to business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in financial accounting due diligence or equivalent at a top firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting or related field.
• CPA or equivalent credential.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong data skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with core financial due diligence, identify risks and deal breakers.
• Analyze financial statements and synthesize data to support management discussions.
• Assess earnings quality, net assets, and cash flows.
• Construct deal‑oriented reports and client presentations with key findings.
• Participate in meetings with target management and client personnel; assist execution.
